Pathways in Faith is a set of tools for parishes to supplement their implementation of the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults; the materials can also be used for more general adult faith formation. It presents themes as they relate to the periods of the RCIA in a structure of conversation and personal reflection and sharing. The components are:

• PDF pages for 38 individual sessions (12 modules). The format for each session includes these parts: Welcome and Introduction, Presentation of the Theme, Discussion and Sharing, Questions Catholic Factoid, Prayer, Announcements, and Hospitality.
• Introductory videos for 12 modules
• Periodic webinars around these themes for participants to reflect and share with other participants outside their parish

Pathways in Faith is not intended to be an exhaustive presentation of the all the dogmas and doctrines of our Catholic faith. Rather, it provides commentary and questions to flesh out your catechetical material.

Pathways in Faith is a resource for parishes to subscribe to as an aid for their initiation ministry. The materials on the Pathways in Faith website are for use and distribution by the parish leader to their participants. Participants should not be given login credentials or account information for their parish’s account.

A parish subscription is for one year and includes access to the PDF pages for all 38 sessions (12 modules) with an introductory video for each module. There also are periodic webinars for participants to reflect more deeply on the themes of the process with other participants in other parishes.

You are welcome to use these materials as you wish for your ministry. The modules/sessions are not bound to a calendar of dates but are arranged thematically and can be used as you wish. See Index.

For each module, we recommend showing the introductory video to your participants before you get started with the sessions. For each session, we provide a meeting format (suitable for in person or online gatherings) and recommend printing and copying the pages for your participants, as these pages include space for journaling in between sessions. And we will host periodic webinars to reflect more deeply on certain themes; there will be a link provided to share with your participants to register for these webinars.
